'Trying to be healthy' salad - Eat with me!

Yesterday I went to a beautiful fondue restaurant with my boyfriend, because it was our one year anniversary together as a couple. I ate A LOT! As you can imagine, it wasn't exactly healthy, even the dessert was chocolate fondue! Today I tried to lunch a liiiittle bit healthier. I'm really picky when it comes to food, there's a lot of things that I don't like (not a big fan of veggies, I confess), so I try to combine everything I like in one! I present to you what I like to call 'trying to be healthy' salad. This is how I do it:

Ingredients:
  • 3 leaves of lettuce
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 slice of cheese
  • 6 green olives
  • 1 handful of fusilli pasta
  • Olive oil
  • Vinegar
  • Oregano

Preparation:
Boil the pasta, since it's what takes more time to cook. Stir and check every now and then.
While the pasta is cooking, in a bowl, cut the cheese in cubes. Add a little vinegar, olive oil and oregano and mix everything together. Then, chop the olives and you can add them in the bowl too.
Wash and dry the lettuce, tear into small pieces and put onto a plate, Add the tuna. When the pasta is al dente, rinse it with cold water and add it to the plate. Pour the ingredients in the bowl too, add olive oil, vinegar and oregano as you like and then just mix it all together! Simple, easy and yummy!

Hope you have a lovely day! ♥

Home Decor Inspiration #1

As I mentioned before, soon I will be moving to England and have a place of my own. It's my first time, moving to another country and to a home of my own. I will be living with my boyfriend too, so it's quite a step in our relationship.
Luckily, my boyfriend and I like the stuff and we both want a minimalistic, modern house. I see so many beautiful decorative things in home stores that I'm absolutely thrilled to move and decorate the house!
I've been gathering ideas on Pinterest, some of them with you.

Once Upon a Time - Belle's wardrobe

When I knew that there was going to be a TV show about all those Disney tales we grew up accustomed to, I was really anxious. So far, so good, I never missed one episode. I love everything about it. The stories, the sceneries and, of course, the wardrobe. Enchanted forest style or Storybrooke style, both caught my eye (and my heart!).
A lot of characters have wonderful wardrobes, but there was one that really made me fall in love: Belle's.
Belle is one of my favourite characters, and her style is one of my favourite too. Everything she wears is just perfect! It gives that school girl/librarian vibe (she does love to read!). Everyone can pull off these looks. They go from casual to semi-formal, it's just a matter of how you style it. These were my favourites:

Welcoming Spring! - H&M

Every time I think about spring, most of the things that pop in my mind are flowers, baby colours and some vibrant colours. It's time to leave all the heavy and cold colours behind and bring our cheerful side!
Even though most of my wardrobe is full with black and white, I went to the H&M website and I found some nice pieces that I could see myself using... and most of them have a colour!

Spring is what I like to call the transition from winter to summer. It's not cold, but it's not warm either. It's in the middle. Even so, it's warmer and we can show a bit of our legs without feeling chilly or in need of stockings. But it gets colder by night, so a jacket comes in handy.

I believe sandals are the best for summer, so I picked up mostly flats. They go with every piece of clothing and they let your feet breathe.
Since we can show a little bit of cleavage now, a statement necklace does the job enhancing the garment. And if it gets cold? Just put a scarf! And, of course, never forget sunglasses!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have a lovely day! ♥

Cinema Date Night - OOTD

Tonight I went on a date with my boyfriend. We went to the cinema and we watched Cinderella (which, as a HUGE Disney fan, I loved it!).
Since we just went to the movies, I chose to wear something casual and discrete. Let me just tell you I am in love with my platform flats (is this the correct terminology?)! They are super comfy, really easy to walk. I thought I wouldn't like to see them on my feet for being so pointy, but I really like them. I guess that gives them their beauty. The only con is that the sole wears off easily.
I didn't wear any necklace, because I believe the shirt does the job. I absolutely love the back. I just wore some silver rings.

Shirt - Primark
Jeans - Stradivarius

Platform flats - Primark

*the ring in my index finger isn't from Primark. I have it for years now.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have a nice week! ♥

Rockstar blazer - How I style it

I consider myself a conscious spender. I am soon moving to the UK, so I know that this consciousness will be needed. Since I love fashion, I try to create different styles with everything I have. Recently, my sister gave me this beautiful blazer from Stradivarius and it is so beautiful! I'm absolutely in love with it. I can use it in so many different ways, but I like to use it with some skinny jeans (I usually buy them in Stradivarius), a semi-transparent silky white shirt and my chelsea boots, both from Primark.
I can't find everything I own on the shop's websites, so I searched for others that are similar and cheap.

1. Asymmetrical blazer with zip detail - Stradivarius
2. High rise jeans - Stradivarius
3. Straight-cut shirt - H&M
4. Black heeled chelsea boot - Primark

I'm very monochromatic, so most of my wardrobe is black and white (hence the name of the blog). I do hope you all enjoy my looks.
Thank you for giving me a chance!
